How to backup MySQL

R1Soft gives the capability of backing up all your MySQL databases. In order to back them up:

  1. First go here or type in the following into your URL:
    https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/j/
  2. Download the zip file - for example: mysql-connector-java-5.1.36.tar.gz (zip for Windows).
  3. Extract the zip to get the .jar file, and then go to your R1Soft installation and go to Configuration, and then Database Drivers and click upload and select the jar file.
