ImunifyAV 3.8.7 is now available
ImunifyAV has been updated to version 3.8.7. This update comes with a few improvements and bug fixes to the free malware scanner.
Changes
Improvements
- The whitelisting approach for the folders and files that should not be scanned has now been improved. A path of the files is defined in a more accurate way.
Bug fixes
- A cleanup behavior for the files that were changed after scanning has been fixed.
- “OperationalError: too many SQL variables;” error that may have occurred during the cleanup process has been fixed.
Installation
To install the new ImunifyAV version 3.8.7, run the following command into your terminal:
wget https://repo.imunify360.cloudlinux.com/defence360/imav-deploy.sh
bash imav-deploy.sh
Upgrading your system
To upgrade ImunifyAV on CentOS/CloudLinux systems, run the command:
yum update imunify-antivirus
