Getting started with WP Toolkit in cPanel

WP Toolkit brings together your account’s WordPress installations and their main management tools. Start by finding the correct site and understanding its status before changing files, plugins or settings. Available controls depend on the features enabled for your service; a missing button does not mean your website has disappeared.

Open the correct website

  1. Sign in to your cPanel account through your usual access. If needed, see our guide to accessing cPanel.
  2. Search for WP Toolkit or WordPress Management. Labels can vary with the interface and language. The cPanel documentation introduces this hosting-account tool.
  3. Find the website’s card. Compare the domain, full address and displayed directory with the website you intend to manage. Clearly distinguish the public site from any test copy.
  4. If an existing installation is missing, use Scan when that action is available. If discovery fails, record the message and request a check. Do not start a new installation in the same location to make the missing site reappear.

Read the information before making changes

The card lets you review the WordPress version and available core, plugin and theme updates. Also open the actual website in your browser: a healthy-looking card does not establish that forms, sign-in or payments work.

If a Log in control is available, it can open WordPress administration. Use it only for a site you are authorised to administer, and close sessions on a shared device. When reporting an error, provide its text and time; hide credentials and customer information in screenshots.

Choose a limited first change

Before updating, prepare an appropriate website backup and the checks you will perform afterwards. A test copy may be preferable for a significant change. Cloning and some advanced tools require particular features, as explained in the WP Toolkit edition overview.

Avoid bulk actions until you have identified exactly which sites they affect. Installing a new WordPress instance, replacing data or removing an installation are different operations from reviewing its status.

Our WordPress hosting uses tools including WP Toolkit to simplify maintenance. Contact Nuagerie with the domain and your goal, such as locating a website, planning an update or creating a test copy. We can clarify the tools available and the next step for your service.
