How to switch from LiteSpeed to Apache

This procedure applies to a cPanel/WHM server with both Apache and LiteSpeed Web Server already installed, using administrator (root) access. It does not apply to an ordinary hosting account or every Linux installation.

Schedule a maintenance window and check that the target web server is configured for your sites. For a Nuagerie-managed server, contact our support team.

From LiteSpeed to Apache:

/usr/local/lsws/admin/misc/cp_switch_ws.sh apache

From Apache to LiteSpeed:

/usr/local/lsws/admin/misc/cp_switch_ws.sh lsws

These commands use the switching script documented by cPanel. After switching, check your HTTPS sites, PHP pages and essential application functions. If errors occur, review the server logs before proceeding.
